The bridge:
Helping young creatives respond to The World of Charles and Ray Eames by turning ideas about design, creativity and everyday life into their own words.
My role:
Workshop facilitator working with young people through the Barbican Art Box programme, translating themes from the exhibition into an accessible creative experience.
What I created:
Interactive poetry, communication and performance sessions that encouraged participants to interpret the exhibition, develop their own ideas and express them with confidence.
Why it mattered:
The project created another way into the exhibition, helping young people move from viewing design to questioning, interpreting and responding to it through their own creative voice.
Skills shown:
Workshop facilitation, cultural interpretation, youth engagement, inclusive communication, creative learning, audience adaptation, public speaking and confidence building.
