Connecting visual art, identity and self-reflection through poetry.
My role:
Commissioned poet for Portrait of the Artist at the Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace, in conjunction with Apples and Snakes.
What I created:
Poetry responding to the exhibition and its themes of image, identity and artistic self-representation.
Why it mattered:
I used language as a bridge into visual art, helping audiences find a more personal and reflective way to engage with the work.
